Il palazzo si affaccia sulla una vasca d'acqua di Bagno Vignoni che disegna i contorni di una piazza unica al mondo dove da più di 2000 anni sgorga una sorgente di calda acqua termale a 49 °C che nasce ad una profondità di circa 1000 metri.
