ALBERGO LA FONTE DEL CIECO
Ubicazione: Albergo situato in un angolo caratteristico del paese, sopra l'antica fontana del Cieco che forniva l'acqua a tutti gli abitanti della piazza ed ora dà il nome allo stesso, frutto di un curato restauro fatto da maestri artigiani su una vecchia villa padronale che domina la piazza principale del piccolo borgo chiantigiano.
Colazione: La prima colazione viene servita sotto il pergolato davanti all'ingresso che, pur essendo in mezzo ad abitazioni, dà la straordinaria sensazione di trovarsi in aperta campagna."

Itinerari di Gaiole e dintorni: Per la fortuna di tutti, la natura prima ed i nostri antenati poi hanno fatto si che a Gaiole sia praticamente impossibile annoiarsi. Il territorio, nei dintorni, può essere percorso a piedi, a cavallo, in bicicletta e con qualsiasi altro mezzo di locomozione la fantasia suggerisca; ci sono, infatti, numerosi percorsi che si snodano fra colline e vallate fra vigne rigogliose ed imponenti oliveti e dove, curva dopo curva, ci appaiono improvvise pievi, ville, torri, castelli, borghi e casolari di rara bellezza.

Location: The hotel is situated in a picturesque corner of the village, not far from the ancient fountain “Del Cieco” which, in the past, supplied water for all the inhabitants of the square, and today gives the Hotel its name. This , which was originally an old country house, has been carefully restored by skillful artisans and ovelooks the main square of the small Chianti village.
Breakfast: Breakfast is served in the bower in front of the entrance and the place, though being situated in the midst of houses, creates a extraordinary atmosphere of open countryside.

Excursions: Thanks to both nature and our ancestors, it is impossible to get bored in Gaiole. This area and its surroundings can be discovered on foot, on horseback, by bike or by any other means of transport; there are, in fact, numerous routes that wind their way through valley and over hills, amongst luxuriant vineyards and imposing olive groves and where, around every corner, there are unexpected village, villas, towers, castles, hamlets and farmhouses of rare beauty.
