Ubicazione: L'albergo Villa al Mare si trova a Sud dell'Isola di Ischia, a mezza costa, adagiato sui vecchi terrazzamenti una volta destinati alla coltura della vite e dell'ulivo. Ai suoi piedi i tornanti della strada che chiude la sua corsa sulla Spiaggia dei Maronti. Alle sue spalle il Monte Cotto ed il paese Testaccio con le sue contrade ricche di testimonianze storiche tra cui spicca la "Torre dei Siniscalchi".
Il Monte Cotto e le altre colline che si susseguono offrono bellissime passeggiate nel verde e scorci panoramici indimenticabili.
Dall'albergo, con frequenti autobus di linea (la fermata è ai piedi dell'albergo), si può facilmente raggiungere la Spiaggia dei Maronti e Ischia Porto, il "centro" per eccelleza dell'isola.

L'Albergo: L'Hotel Villa al Mare è aperto dal giugno del 1964, anno nel quale fu edificato. Ampliato nel 1970 e ammodernato nel 1990, dispone di 29 camere di cui la maggior parte con vista mare, ristorante, terrazza-bar, ascensore, riscaldamento, piscina termale a 33 °C, solarium e parcheggio. A fare da cornice, un curato giardino ricco di piante fiorite e alberi da frutta. Un orto, inoltre, fornisce buona parte delle verdure, della frutta e delle erbe aromatiche che vengono servite agli ospiti.

La Cucina: Non per ultima, la cucina é curata personalmente dalla famiglia e vi consentirà di poter gustare ottimi e genuni piatti locali.

Le Camere: Tutte le nostre camere affacciao sulla splendida Baia dei Maronti. Si possono godere tramonti mozzafiato e scenari di ineguagliabile bellezza ed allo stesso tempo poter rilassarsi in tutta tranquillità. Arredate con mobili in legno, midollino ed elementi in ferro battuto, le camere, dispongono di doccia, WC, telefono e balcone o terrazzo.

La Piscina ed il Giardino: La piscina dell'albergo sorge su di una terrazza attrezzata di lettini ed ombrelloni e gode di uno splendido panorama su tutta la Baia dei Maronti.
Nell'acqua termale a 33 °C ci si rilassa dopo le lunghe giornate trascorse al mare o passeggiando nel verde dell'isola. Il rigoglioso giardino che la circonda, offre momenti di tranquillità e angoli ombrosi dove rifugiarsi durante le giornate più calde.

Spiaggia: Dagli ampi terrazzi e dai balconi dell'albergo si può ammirare la magnifica Baia dei Maronti, la sua spiaggia ed all'orizzonte il Promontorio di Sant'Angelo. La Spiaggia dei Maronti è considerata fra le più belle dell'isola. Lungo il suo litorale sono disposti tanti ristorantini dove poter ristoranrsi dopo aver trascorso piacevoli ore sulla spiaggia. Si può raggiungere a piedi dall'albergo (10 min.) oppure con ià frequenti autobus che fermano proprio ai piedi dell'albergo. Il borgo di Sant'Angelo, sebbene la strada lungo la spiaggia si interrompa, è raggiungibile comunque tramite i taxi-barca che fanno la spola tra un capo e l'altro della spiaggia, oppure, per gli manati delle passeggiate attraverso un suggestivo sentiero di montagna.

Location: The Hotel Villa al Mare is located on the south side of the Ischia island. it lies on the terraced hillside where once were the vine and olive growing. The famous Maronti Beach strethces-below the Hotel and ends up in Sant'Angelo. Then above is the sunny hilltop Monte Cotto with the ancient village Testaccio.
On the Monte Cotto and its surroundings hills there are beautyful walks and splendid views. Nearby the Hotel the roads leads to Maronti Beach or brings you to Ischia Porto, the "main centre" of the island.
Both, beach and centre, can be reached by bus. There is a busstop past the Hotel.

The Hotel: The structure was built and opened in 1964. In 1980 it was enlarged and redecorated; now it has 29 rooms, of witch 24 with seaview, restaurant, bar with sheltered terrace, heating, swimming-pool with hot thermal water (33°), solarium and parking. All around the garden is plenty of luxuriant, blooming plants and flowers, and besides the hotel is an orchrd too, that gives the kitchen genuine fruits and vegetables.

Cuisine: The food is tasteful and typical, dainty disches of Ischia are carefully prepared.

The busline link up comfortably and often Maronti beach with Ischia Porto. The busstop is down the hotel.

Rooms: Our rooms are placed to enjoy the wonderful view of Maronti Bay. The breathtaking sundowns, the beauty of this verdant island let you have a very relaxing experience. All the rooms have furnishings made of wood or wicker and wrought iron decors, private bath, telephone, balcony or terrace.

Swimming pool and Garden: On a terrace with deckchairs, beachumbrellas and the beautyful view of Maronti Beach is the pool. Its hot thermal water at 33° is really relaxing, expecially after a long day spent on the beach or walking round the island. Then is a garden with flowers, plants and trees, and some shaded spots where one can read or lay in peace when the day get heat.

The Beach: From the ample balconies and from the balconies of the hotel the magnificent Bay of the Marontis can be admired, its beach and to the horizon the Promontory of Sant'Angelo. The Beach of the Marontis is considered among the most beautiful of the island, along its shore so many restaurants are prepared, whether to be able to refresh himself/herself/themselves after having spent pleasant times on the beach.
