Ubicazione: L’Albergo San Montano è un’isola nell’isola d'Ischia.

Sospeso tra cielo e mare, affascina con un superbo panorama che si estende per 360 gradi: a est la costa frastagliata dell’isola, Napoli e la Penisola Sorrentina, a sud il verde rigoglioso del monte Epomeo, a Nord la costa Flegrea e Gaeta, a Ovest la collina e il blu del mare o il rosso di un sole infuocato dal quale di frequente appare l’isola di Ventotene.

Il Parco: Il parco, di circa 15.000 mq, accoglie con i profumi delle piante aromatiche, con le forme delle piante esotiche e con gli intensi colori dei fiori.

La natura con i suoi stupefacenti cromatismi è presente ovunque: l’azzurro del mare incontra l’azzurro più tenue del cielo, il verde del parco e delle colline.


Piscine Esterne: Il sole batte sulle due piscine esterne dall’alba al tramonto.

La piscina termale (temperatura 32°/37°) è profonda 1,40 Mt., è dotata di getti idromassaggio ed è collegata all’albergo da un tunnel: è bello immergersi nella sua acqua anche in inverno.

La piscina di acqua di mare è profonda da 1 a 3 mt ed è più adatta al nuoto.

È piacevole trascorrere la giornata sui loro bordi viziati da un personale sempre pronto a servire un cocktail o uno snack.


Interni: Gli arredi interni sono in stile vecchia marina e provengono in gran parte dalla demolizione di antiche navi; ovunque sono presenti il mogano, l’ottone e la pelle.


Le Camere: Solari sono le camere dotate di tutti i conforts di categoria e quasi tutte con splendida vista mare o collina e con balcone o terrazzo.

Particolarmente confortevoli sono junior suites, su due livelli e dotate di bagno con vasca idromassaggio e di un bagno con doccia.

Il Bar: Il bar è l’ambiente ideale per rilassarsi e la sera gustare un aperitivo sulla suggestiva terrazza, in presenza di uno spettacolare tramonto o un digestivo nei ricercati interni, sempre accompagnati dalle note del piano e dalla voce di Francesco che intona una melodia napoletana o piuttosto un recentissimo hit.


La Spiaggia Privata: Ancora l’albergo offre un servizio gratuito di spiaggia riservata, presso la Baia di San Montano, la più bella dell’isola.

Inoltre è possibile raggiungere il centro di Lacco Ameno con il pulmino dell’albergo, che è a disposizione, con servizio a richiesta, dalle ore 9.00 alle ore 19.00.


Le Terme: All’avanguardia sono le Terme, dirette dal dr. Nicola Zerbinati: alla bi-millenaria tradizione del termalismo dell’isola d’Ischia, ed alle cure di riabilitazione motoria si uniscono gli impianti tipici di un Centro Benessere (piscina coperta, fitness center, sauna e bagno turco) e gli esclusivi trattamenti (anticellulite, tonificanti, snellenti, ringiovanenti) che hanno fatto del dr Zerbinati e del suo Centro Medico Polispecialistico di Pavia un punto di riferimento nel settore della Medicina Estetica in Italia.

It seems to hang suspended between sky and sea and the breathtaking sea view nearly overwhelms the senses: the island’s indented coast, Naples, volcano Vesuvius and the Sorrentine peninsula to the east; the lush green slopes of Mount Epomeo to the south; to the west gentle hills dropping into deep blue water under an orange flame sunset, through which the island of Ventotene glimmers often in the distance; the Flegrea area coast to the north.

The Park: The air is full of wild fragrances from the numerous varieties of aromatic and exotic plants enticing the senses with their smells and shapes.

Beautiful shades dominate the landscape: the sea is as blue as the sky above on a clear day against which the lush green park and gently- rolling hills stand out.

The park facilities include two outdoor swimming pools, tennis court, bowling, private parking lot, natural sauna and aromatic walking.

Swimming Pool: The sun shines down brightly over the outdoor pools from dawn to sunset. An indoor tunnel connects the thermal water pool with whirls and the hotel for a wallow in the pleasantly warm water (between 32 and 37° C) even in the cold winter days. The sea water swimming pool is 1 to 3 m deep. Not far from the pool a natural sauna vents steam in a grotto dug out of the rock.

The sun deck is the ideal place to relax and entertain all day long while enjoying the pleasure of sipping a cocktail or tasting some of our delicious snacks beside the pool.

The hotel amenities include free access to the most beautiful beach on the island, San Montano Beach, including shuttle bus and towel.

Services: The large reception hall is beautifully furnished with old navy style antiques recycled from old ship demolitions.

Interiors feature everywhere mahogany, brass and leather furniture.

Facilities include also a gambling hall, a TV hall and a reading area.

Rooms: The well-lit bedrooms are furbished to the highest standards and furnished with old navy style furniture.
Almost all bedrooms have a balcony or terrace offering breathtaking views over the sea and area.

Some single occupancy bedrooms are also available.
The six standard rooms enjoy park view or look onto the surrounding hills, but do not have a balcony. They are the perfect accommodation for those who want to pay a lower rate and at the same time enjoy all amenities Albergo San Montano can offer.

The 14 comfort rooms enjoy hill or park view; all 20 deluxe rooms and the nine superior rooms enjoy fantastic sea view with the latter being more spacious.

The 14 junior suites feature a lower level living room and an upper level bedroom and two bathrooms.

The only 2 single-level suites consist of a wider living room, which can communicate with a deluxe bedroom, and two bathrooms.
