Villa del Quar è un Hotel a cinque stelle in provincia di Verona, di altissima qualità e con un Ristorante di pari importanza, ricavati in una Villa Veneta del XVI secolo, edificata su preesistenze trecentesche, dichiarata dallo Stato Italiano Monumento Nazionale.


Ubicazione: Si trova a 5 km da Verona, immersa nei vigneti della Valpolicella all’interno di una vasta Tenuta delimitata da un muro e da una strada antichissima di epoca Romana, con proprie colture a vite dove si produce il Vino SATYRUS riserva di Villa del Quar.


E’ circondata da un ampio parco con palme disposte attorno ad una piscina-laghetto a forma di trifoglio, con cedri del Libano e alberi da frutto.


Camere: L'Hotel 5 cinque stelle Villa del Quar, aperto nel 1992, è composto da 18 camere doppie e 10 suites, di cui alcune con doppio bagno, arredate con mobili antichi originali di gusto neoclassico e dotate di ogni comfort. Tre suites sono al piano terreno ed hanno a disposizione un proprio giardino. Completano la struttura la Sala da The con libreria, la cantina, la piscina esterna, il gazebo con il bar, la sala meeting, la palestra, la sala massaggi e la sauna. Vale la pena di tessere le meritate lodi di uno dei capolavori di Villa del Quar. La suite della Piscina è uno dei vanti della nobile villa patrizia e rappresenta l’armonia del gusto e della raffinatezza. Situata nella struttura principale sopra la Sala da The, questa prestigiosa suite ha grandi vetrate con vista sulla piscina esterna, sul parco della villa e i suoi vigneti. E’ composta da un soggiorno, camera da letto e due bagni le cui cornici degli specchi sono in mosaico riportanti il disegno della piscina in Lapislazzolo blu. Eleganti e pregiate sono le porte originali Luigi XVI, le pareti sono adornate da incantevoli e delicate lampade di “Cà Rezzonico” di Murano. Nella camera il letto è king size a baldacchino e testata dorati originali epoca Luigi XV. Presente nella stanza anche uno scrittoio veronese Luigi XVI. Nei due bagni Marmo verde Ming che riprende il colore dei prati, i tendaggi sono con tessuti preziosi a motivo floreale. Un’altra suite è dotata di ascensore privato, arredata con tessuti floreali e mobili Stile Impero, un’altra ancora è provvista di doppio giardino ed è arredata con mobili originali Luigi XIV.


Ristorante: Arquade è il nome arcaico di questa località e deriva dal Latino Arquadis. Il ristorante Arquade, accreditato di due stelle Michelin e tre forchette "Gambero Rosso", si articola in due sale, la prima denominata Trésor, con soffitto ligneo, più intima con 6 tavoli tondi. Le tovaglie chiare in un tessuto particolare piacevole al tatto. Le sedie in stile Direttorio; alle pareti antiche stampe tedesche e italiane. Tocchi preziosi sono dati dai paliotti da chiesa del ‘700 e dal mobiletto fine Ottocento inglese, riproducente una libreria, che contiene la collezione di distillati (whisky, Calvados, Armagnac). La seconda sala, denominata Eurosia, con sette tavoli tondi, era un tempo la Chiesetta ed ha un soffitto a volta. E’ illuminata da un grande lampadario di Murano centrale. Qui predomina l’azzurro nelle tende e nelle 4 torcere veneziane. Il portale di una chiesa anch’esso a girali blu, fa da cornice ad una specchiera. Molto bello il ristorante all’esterno d’estate, con vista sul giardino e sulle colline circostanti ricche di ciliegi, viti e cipressi. Una piacevolissima brezza nella sera scende dalle colline per dare refrigerio, tanto da abbassare la temperatura della calda estate rendendo gradevolissima la sosta.

Villa del Quar situated in the province of Verona, is a five star hotel of the highest-quality, with a Restaurant of equal importance, built within a 16th century Venetian Villa, constructed over pre-existing 14th century foundations. Villa del Quar was recently declared a National Monument by the Italian government.


Location: It is located 5 km from Verona, immersed in the vineyards of Valpolicella within an enormous estate bordered by an antique stone wall and an ancient road dating back to the Roman era, with its very own vineyards from which Villa del Quar SATYRUS Reserve Wine is produced.

The 5 five star Hotel Villa del Quar, opened in 1992, has 18 double rooms and 10 suites, of which some have double bathrooms, furnished with original antique furniture of neo- classical style, and providing every available comfort. Three suites are at ground level and have at their disposition gardens of their own. The Tea Room with library, wine cellar, outdoor swimming pool, gazebo with bar, meeting room, gym, massage room and sauna, complete the facilities. It is worth while giving well deserved praise to one of the masterpieces of Villa del Quar. The Swimming Pool Suite is one of the proud features of the noble patrician villa and represents a harmony of taste and refinement. Situated in the main structure over the Tea Room, this prestigious suite has large windows with vistas over the outdoor swimming pool, the park of the villa and its vineyards. It is composed of a living room, bedroom and two bathrooms whose mirrors are framed in blue Lapis lazuli mosaics in a similar design to that of the swimming pool. The elegant and valuable doors are authentic Luigi XVI, the walls are adorned with charming, delicate lamps of "Cà Rezzonico" Murano crystal. In the bedroom the bed is a king sized four-poster with gilded headboard originating from the Luigi XV era. The room also contains a Luigi XVI Veronese bureau. The two bathrooms are in Green Ming Marble that echoes the colour of the lawns; the drapes are of precious fabrics in floral motifs. Another suite is equipped with a private elevator, furnished with floral fabrics and Empire Style furniture; another has a double garden and is furnished with authentic Luigi XIV furniture.


Restaurant: Arquade is the archaic name of the locality and derives from the Latin, Arquadis. The Arquade restaurant is ranked at the top of the classifications of the most highly accredited Gastronomic Guides. It has been awarded two Michelin stars and three "Gambero Rosso" forks. Arranged in two rooms, the first called Trésor, with a carved wooden ceiling, is the more intimate with 6 round tables. Pale tablecloths in a material particularly pleasing to the touch. The chairs are in the Directoire style; on the walls antique German and Italian prints. Precious touches are provided by the altar panels from an 18th century church and by the late 19th century English reproduction cabinet, once a bookcase and which now contains the restaurant’s collection of distillates (Whisky, Calvados, Armagnac). The second room, called Eurosia, with seven round tables, was once a small Church and has a vaulted ceiling. It is lit by a great central chandelier in Murano crystal. Here the colour blue predominates in the drapes and the 4 Venetian torches. A church portal with blue arabesque designs serves as a frame for a mirror. The restaurant is very beautiful outside in the summer, with views over the garden and surrounding hills covered with cherry trees, vineyards and cypresses. In the evening a pleasant cooling breeze comes down from the hills, mitigating the hot summer temperature, making for a very enjoyable stay.
