L' HOTEL CONTINENTAL MARE è situato in un tranquillo parco di 10.000 mq sulla meravigliosa baia di Cafiero, nei pressi della "Spiaggia degli Inglesi" e del Parco Termale Castiglione.

Un bacino di acque termominerali di particolare interesse è quello situato in località "S.Alessandro" dove sorge l'Hotel Continental Mare. Le acque che vengono emunte dalla sorgente rinvenuta nella zona a 60 metri di profondità, presentano la caratteristica di essere nello stesso tempo ipertemali (naturalmente calde, a temperature variabili da 35 a 40°C) e salso-bromo-iodiche. Esse sono inoltre ricche di quei microelementi ai quali la moderna scienza idrologica attribuisce grande importanza nell'azione terapeutica.
