Ubicazione: L'Hotel-Ristorante Pausania Inn si trova a Tempio Pausania, in provincia di Olbia-Tempio, a 1 km dal centro cittadino. Tempio dista 100 km da Alghero, 85 km da Porto Torres, e appena 44 km da Olbia. Il Pausania Inn è facile da raggiungere: arrivati a Tempio, prendete la strada per Palau (S.S. 133), e dopo 1 km, sulla sinistra, trovate il nostro ingresso.

Il Ristorante: Al ristorante dell’Hotel Pausania Inn potrete gustare specialità nazionali e internazionali, ma soprattutto i piatti tipici della Sardegna e della Gallura. Tra questi ricordiamo gli gnocchetti, la zuppa gallurese, il maialetto al mirto e le seadas. I nostri sono piatti semplici e genuini, che fanno un ampio uso dei prodotti locali. Inoltre, a richiesta possiamo servire piatti vegetariani e senza glutine.

La colazione è il nostro punto di forza. Servita a buffet in una sala panoramica, è a base di torte fatte in casa, marmellate, salumi, cereali e croissant. C’è tutto il necessario, insomma, per iniziare la giornata al meglio.

Le Camere: Al Pausania Inn ci sono molte tipologie di stanze. Abbiamo pensato alle esigenze di famiglie, coppie e single, gruppi di amici, diversamente abili.
Ci sono stanze standard, altre con terrazzo o giardino, o superior con accesso indipendente, tutte naturalmente con servizi in camera, tv- color, riscaldamento e aria condizionata.

La Piscina La grande piscina all'aperto del Pausania Inn è il luogo ideale dove rilassarsi, gustando i drink del nostro servizio bar. Circondata dai fiori e da piccoli angoli all’ombra della macchia mediterranea che invitano al riposo e alla meditazione; qui è possibile trascorrere ore piacevoli sui comodi lettini, oppure sdraiati sulle amache a godere il fresco, avvolti dall'aria pulita e profumata del giardino. Ogni angolo è studiato e progettato per avvolgervi in un'atmosfera rilassante.

Il patio: Godetevi il fresco e il panorama del nostro patio, che si affaccia sui bellissimi monti di Aggius, considerati il "Resegone" sardo per il loro caratteristico profilo smerlato.

Cosa c'è da fare?: Qua al Pausania Inn - nuotare in piscina, giocare a tennis, rilassarsi leggendo un buon libro... Nei dintorni suggeriamo la visita a Tempio Pausania, cittadina graziosa e caratteristica, una visita al sito archeologico Nuraghe Majori, a 500 m dall’hotel, un'escursione sul Monte Limbara, con la possibilità di fare trekking o nordic walking, un'escursione alla Valle della Luna per ammirarne le sculture naturali di granito, un'escursione in battello al Lago Liscia, con la visita agli olivastri millenari. Un'escursione a bordo del Trenino Verde, che da Tempio porta, attraverso un percorso mozzafiato, in alcune meravigliose mete del Nord Sardegna.

Seguire le indicazioni per uscire dall’aeroporto. Si giunge ad un semaforo, superato il quale girare a sinistra. Dopo 300 m girare a destra, seguendo indicazioni per Sassari. Subito dopo, svoltare a sinistra per Sassari. Dopo 2.9 km voltare a destra, seguendo indicazioni per Palau/ Golfo Aranci/ Arzachena/ S. Teresa.

Dopo circa 3 km e mezzo svoltare a destra per Telti, proseguire per circa 5 km , poi svoltare a destra per Priatu.

Proseguire per 6 km sino ad arrivare a una rotonda. Uscire dalla rotonda alla seconda svoltare a destra, per Tempio/ Luras (SP 136). Dopo 7 km circa si giunge ad uno stop: girare a sinistra, continuando per Tempio/ Calangianus. Dopo 5 km circa si arriva a un nuovo stop vicino alla cittadina di Luras: svoltare a sinistra, sempre per Tempio/ Calangianus. Dopo 1 km, giunti ad un altro stop, girare a destra per Tempio (SS 127). Dopo 5 km si arriva a Tempio, sulla circonvallazione. Senza entrare nel centro cittadino, proseguire lungo la circonvallazione e superare tre semafori. A questo punto svoltare sulla strada per Palau (SS 133). Dopo 1 km, sulla sinistra, si trova l’ingresso del Pausania Inn.

Come arrivare al Pausania Inn dall’Aeroporto di Alghero-Fertilia

Seguire le indicazioni per uscire dall’aeroporto di Alghero-Fertilia. Girare a sinistra, dopo 200 m girare a destra in direzione Sassari. Percorrere 3 km, quindi andare a destra in direzione Sassari. A questo punto la cantina Sella & Mosca è visibile sul lato destro. Dopo 4 km si giunge a una rotatoria – andare in direzione Sassari. Dopo 1 km girare a sinistra, in direzione Sassari. Dopo 5 km girare a sinistra, in direzione Sassari. Prendere l’autostrada a 4 corsie, percorrerla per 9 km quindi andare in direzione Cagliari (SS 131). Dopo 18 km girare a destra, in direzione Tempio. Dopo 6 km girare a destra, in direzione Tempio. Percorrere 47 km (SS 597), di cui gli ultimi 13 km molto tortuosi. Dopo 1,5 km al semaforo girare a sinistra sulla SS 133 Tempio-Palau. Dopo 1 km, sulla sinistra, si trova l’ingresso del Pausania Inn.

The Restaurant: Pausania Inn’s restaurant serves Italian and typical 
Sardinian cuisine. Among other dishes, our experienced chef 
prepares excellent gnocchetti sardi (small, durum wheat gnocchi, usually served with a tomato-based sauce), porcetto al mirto (pork seasoned with myrtle), zuppa alla Gallurese (layered bread and cheese, baked in a meat broth), seadas (cheese-filled sweets, often topped with honey) and lots more. Our specialties are simple and hearty, and make ample use of local ingredients. Also, on request we are happy to serve vegetarian and gluten-free food.

Breakfast is our forte. Served as a buffet in a panoramic dining room, it comprises an assortment of homemade cakes and tortes, jams, cured meats, cereal and croissants. Indeed, you’ll find a wonderful array of sweet and savory foods that will help you fuel up for the day.

The Rooms: There are many different kinds of rooms at Pausania Inn. We tried to meet the needs of families, couples, singles, groups of friends, the physically challenged. Some rooms have a terrace, others a garden, a few have an independent entrance, and so on. Naturally, they all have a bathroom, a tv, heat and air conditioning.

The Swimming Pool and the Tennis Court: Pausania Inn’s good-sized outdoor swimming pool is a great spot to relax and sip a drink. Surrounded by flowers and a lawn shaded by Mediterranean trees, this is an inviting setting in which to rest while musing on the beauty and serenity of the area. You can spend many leisurely hours on the comfortable lawn chairs and hammocks here, delighting in the mild weather and the sweet scents wafting from the garden.

The Terrace: Enjoy the cool summer evenings and beautiful panorama from our terrace, that looks over the jagged granite mountains of Aggius.

What is there to do: Right here at the Inn, you can swim in the pool, play tennis, or simply relax while reading a book. In the area, you can visit Tempio Pausania, the archaeological site of Nuraghe Majori, 500 m from the hotel, hike or walk on Mount Limbara, go to the nearby Moon Valley, whose wind-molded granite sculptures are a breathtaking sight, enjoy a boat outing on Lake Liscia, and visit the thousand-year-old olive trees of Luras.

Board the Little Green Train, which sets off on a breathtaking journey through the region’s untamed interior and reaches some of its most beautiful northern destinations.

Follow directions to leave the airport. When you reach the traffic light turn 
left. After 300 m bear right, following directions for Sassari. Almost immediately bear left toward Sassari. After 2.9 km turn right, following directions for Palau / Golfo Aranci / Arzachena / S. Teresa.

After 3.5 km turn right, toward Telti. Keep going 
for about 5 km, then turn right for Priatu.

Keep going for 6 km until you get to a traffic circle. Exit at second turn on 
the right-hand side toward Tempio / Luras (SP 136). After approximately 
7 km you reach a stop sign: turn left toward Tempio / Calangianus. After about 5 km you reach another stop sign bordering the small town of Luras: turn left, toward Tempio / Calangianus. After 1 km, upon reaching another stop sign, turn right onto road directed toward Tempio (SS 127). 
After 5 km you reach Tempio’s ring road. Without entering into town center, keep straight on ring road and pass through 3 traffic lights. Bear right 
onto street toward Palau (SS 133). Pausania Inn’s entrance is after 1 km, on the left.

How to get to Pausania Inn from the Alghero-Fertilia Airport


Follow directions to leave the Alghero-Fertilia airport. Turn left, after 200 m bear right, following directions for Sassari. Continue for 3 km, then bear right, following directions for Sassari. At this point the Sella & Mosca winery should be visible on your right. After 4 km you will reach a traffic circle: proceed to follow directions for Sassari. After 1 km turn left, toward Sassari. After 5 km turn left again, toward Sassari. Get onto a 4-aisle highway, and go straight for 9 km, then follow directions for Cagliari (SS 131). After 18 km turn right, toward Tempio. After 6 km turn right, toward Tempio. Keep going for 47 km (SS 597), the last 13 km of which you will find to be full of twists and turns. After 1.5 km you will reach a traffic light. Turn sharply to the left to get onto the road directed toward Palau (SS 133). Pausania Inn’s entrance is after 1 km, on the left.
