HOTEL DU LAC

Storia: L’Hotel Du Lac è una romantica villa, ricoperta di fiori, proprio in riva al lago, nella parte medioevale di Varenna. Costrutita nel 1823, fu trasformata in albergo a metà ‘900. Completamente restaurata, conserva ancora oggi il fascino del tempo fin nei particolari, attraverso l’accurata scelta dei materiali e dei colori. Ne è testimone anche l’antico nome di “Casetta Teodolinda”. Una leggenda infatti narra che la grande regina Longobarda venisse qui a riposare durante la stagione estiva.

Hall: La Hall suggestiva vi riporta all'eleganza dei tempi. Colonne di marmo, balaustre in ferro battuto, l'estetica si sposa al clima accogliente, pieno di gentilezza e cordialità dell'Hotel.

Terrazza: Una terrazza raccolta, tra i fiori, nel verde e blu del lago, un luogo ideale per sorseggiare bevande freschissime, godere sorbetti, gelati o desserts squisiti.

Relax e calore del camino in un ambiente intimo ed accogliente, ideale per letture tranquille o racconti tra amici. Momenti di riposo dopo le gite sul lago e nei dintorni.

Camere: Azalea, Ortensia...
ogni camera ha il nome di un fiore. Le ricorderete anche per questo, oltre che per il silenzio, il comfort e l'incantevole vista sul lago.

Servizi: Ai suoi ospiti l’Hotel Du Lac offre un servizio di Bed and Breakfast, ma è possibile anche usufruire della sala relax, di una sala riunioni in grado di contenere fino a 25 persone e degli spendidi terrazzi sul lago.

History: The Hotel Du Lac is a romantic villa covered with flowers, right on the lakefront in the medieval part of Varenna.
It was build in 1823 and trasformed into an hotel in the middle of the twentieth century.
The renovation has conserved the old charm right down to the details, the materials and colours.
It’s old name is “Casetta Teodolinda”, because it is said that the Lombard Queen used to come here to rest during the summer season.

Hall: The atmosphere of the hall takes you back to the elegance of days gone by. Marble columns and wrought iron balustrades, beauty is part of the welcome, of this warm, gentle Hotel.

Terrace: The terrace is immersed in flowers and the blues and greens of the lake. An ideal spot to sip cool drinks, or enjoy exquisite sorbets, ice-creams or desserts.

The relaxing warmth of the fireplace, a welcoming, intimate atmosphere, ideal for quiet reading or stories among friends. Restful moments after trips on the lake and surroundings.
