HOTEL VILLA CIPRESSI - DIMORA STORICA

La Storia: Villa Cipressi è un complesso di edifici e giardini ricchi di storia costruiti principalmente tra il 1400 e il 1800.

Fu di proprietà della nobile famiglia Serponti (1163), del Barone Isimbaldi (fine '700), della famiglia Andreossi , che ne curò in particolare il Parco, di Sir Astley e Sir Salton (primi '900) e per ultimo l'editore Accame.

Nel 1980 viene acquistata mediante una pubblica volontaria sottoscrizione dai Varennesi e amici di Varenna per essere destinata ad uso pubblico.


Di proprietà di enti pubblici, principalmente del Comune di Varenna, è gestita come Hotel dal gruppo Cofathec S.p.A. che ne ha curato il restauro nel rispetto delle linee architettoniche preesistenti combinando armoniosamente l'antico alla funzionalità.

Camere: Situata in una posizione incantevole, sulle sponde del Lago di Como, ramo di Lecco, Villa Cipressi offre 32 camere, tutte diverse l'una dall'altra e 4 suites, capaci di ospitare fino a 4 persone, per un totale di 75 posti letto.

Le stanze silenziose ed esclusive arredate con stile ed eleganza sono dotate di ogni comforts, pensate per gli amanti dei piccoli dettagli, offrono una suggestione unica trasmettendo una sensazione di agio e grande vivibilità e fanno della struttura un luogo ideale per un soggiorno piacevole all'insegna del relax.


Banchetti: Villa Cipressi offre anche la possibilità di organizzare banchetti e cerimonie, meeting ed incontri di livello mettendo a disposizione ampie sale eleganti, capaci di ospitare fino a 150 persone.

Congressi: I quattro saloni di importanza storica grazie alla loro flessibilità e capaci di ospitare fino ad un massimo di 150 persone, già sede di importanti congressi internazionali, è in grado di mettere a disposizione una attrezzatura alla avanguardia per soddisfare qualsiasi esigenza del cliente.

History: Villa Cipressi is a complex of buildings and gardens, rich in history, built mainly between 1400 and 1800.

It was the property of the noble Serponti family (1163), of Baron Isimbaldi (at the end of the eighteenth century), of the Andreossi family, who took care of the Park, of Sir Astley and Sir Salton (at the beginning of the twentieth century) and finally of the publisher Accame.

In 1980 it was purchased through a public voluntary subscription by the people and friends of Varenna for a public use.


Owned by public corporations, mainly by the Municipality of Varenna, it is managed as a Hotel by the Cofathec Group that has reconstructed it in compliance with the pre- existing architectural lines by reconciling harmoniously antiquities with practicality.

Rooms: Villa Cipressi is situated in a charming spot on the shores of the lake of Como and offers 32 rooms, each different from the other, and 4 suites, able to accommodate up to 4 people, for a total of 75 beds.

The silent and exclusive rooms, furnished with flair and elegance, are fitted with every comfort, intended for those who are fond of small details. They offer a unique charm transferring a feeling of comfort and great liveability, and make the villa the ideal place for a pleasant stay in a relaxing atmosphere.


Ceremonies: Villa Cipressi also offers the possibility to organise banquets and ceremonies, meetings and high-level conferences putting at disposal wide and elegant rooms, able to accommodate up to 150 people.

The "I Cipressi" Restaurant proposes refashioned local and international dishes and is glad to receive you in one of the most romantic and picturesque settings of our Lake.


Congresses: Thanks to the four halls of historical importance, already premises of important international congresses and able to accommodate up to a maximum of 150 people, the villa is able to put at disposal a state-of-the-art equipment in order to meet all the requirements of the customer.
