La
Storia: La villa prende il nome dalla più
importante dinastia di vescovi che il Trentino abbia mai
avuto: i Madruzzo appunto. Questa famiglia governò il
principato vescovile di Trento dal 1539 al 1568 e, caso
unico al mondo, furono ben quattro discendenti che ressero
la diocesi tridentina consecutivamente.
Pare che la villa sia stata costruita nel tardo ‘400,
poco prima cioè del Concilio di Trento, l’evento più
emblematico della storia trentina. Appartenne al cardinale
Cristoforo Madruzzo una delle figure di spicco del periodo
conciliare, che la scelse come dimora estiva e vi ospitò
numerosi illustri personaggi.
Bar, ristorante, albergo... ma prima di tutto luogo di
tranquillità e naturale bellezza.
Situata in favorevole posizione sulla collina di Trento,

Armoniosamente inserito nella struttura della villa è
l'arredamento delle sale: i pavimenti in legno, i mobili
d'antiquariato i tappeti persiani donano a tutti gli

Il
Ristorante: Tre sale da pranzo, collocate al
pianterreno con apertura verso il secolare parco dell'hotel
sono a disposizione degli ospiti.
In cucina la scelta gastronomica è impostata a valorizzare
ed esaltare la cura estrema di ogni preparazione sia essa
tradizionale o tipica locale.
Vengono utilizzati soltanto prodotti di sicura freschezza e
qualità secondo stagione e reperibilità di mercato.
Interessante la proposta dei dessert.
Le
Camere: L'albergo dispone di 50 camere, poste su
due piani, con vista sul parco della villa.
In ogni stanza sono installati

Nel piano più alto di Villa Madruzzo sono state ricavate
delle luminose mansarde con tra vi di legno a vista.
Le stanze sono fornite fra l'altro di aria
condizionata.
Congressi: L' hotel mette a
disposizione, oltre alla classica struttura di un moderno
hotel a tre stelle, una capiente sala congressi attrezzata
con impianto voci stereofonico, maxischermo, pannello per
proiezioni e aria condizionata.
- All' esterno inoltre trova posto un ampio parcheggio
privato
- In cantina sono conservate le migliori etichette della
produzione locale e nazionale. Particolarmente ricca la
varietà di grappe e distillati
- In estate è possibile mangiare all'aperto sulla fresca
terrazza, circondata dal verde del parco, luogo ideale
anche per banchetti, ricevimenti, matrimoni.
Il
Parco: Una delle principali peculiarità di Villa
Madruzzo è senza dubbio il vasto parco che la circonda.
L'area verde è composta da un' enorme varietà di piante,
tra cui spiccano gli abeti rossi, un maestoso cipresso di
Lawson, un secolare cedro e un esemplare di quercia di
rovere, un raro esemplare di yucca e del cipresso calvo
orginanario della Florida. Nella parte bassa del parco,
sopra la forra del torrente Fersina, cresce un bosco di
bambù.
Aiuole e sentieri tra le variopinte coltivazioni di
rose, magnolie e viole consentono agli ospiti di godere
tutta la tranquillità del parco e di gustarne i profumi. Il
parco rispecchia lo stile di tutte le zone verdi delle
ville padronali del XVIII secolo con aiuole bordate di
bosso e le coltivazioni di cedro, bambù e tasso.

History: The villa owes its name
to the most important ecclesiastical dynasty that the
province of Trentino has ever know, namely the Madruzzo
family. This family governed the ecclesiastical
principality of Trento from 1539 to 1658 and being the only
case of its type whereby four consecutive discendents ruled
the Tridentino Diocese. It seems as though the villa was
built in the late 1400 ‘s, just before the assembly of the
famous Council of Trento the most emblematic event in the
history of Trentino.
Bar, restaurant, hotel.... but first of all a place of
peace and natural beauty.
Situated conveniently in the hills above Trento, Villa
Madruzzo offers its guests all the comforts of a modern
three star hotel, beginning with its calm and peaceful
position amongst the greenery.
The wooden floors, antique furniture and Persian carpets
add a touch of elegance and simplicity to the atmosphere,
blending in tastefully with the structure of the villa and
the layout of the rooms.
The
Restaurant: Guests have three dining rooms at
their disposal, all situated on the ground floor andopening
on to the ancient park.
When choosing the menu, great pains are taken to produce
every dish to the highest standards, whether it be a
traditional or local speciality.
Only fresh quality produce is used, varying according to
the season and availability on the market.
There is an attractive selection of dessert.
The
Rooms: The hotel has fifty rooms, on two floors,
with views of the villa 's sweeping park.

conditioning.

distillates is particularly wide

balcony, surrounded by the green park, also an ideal
location for banquets, receptions and weddings.
The
Park: One of the main features of Villa Madruzzo
is undoubtely the large park which surrounds it. The green
area contains a rich variety of plants, among which the
spruces stand out, together with a majestic Lawson cypress,
a secular cedar and a fine English oak. Moreover, rare
specimens of yucca and of a cypress from Florida enrich
the beauty of the park. In the lower part of the park,
above the gorge on the Fersina torrent, there is also a
wood of bamboos.
The flowerbeds and paths among the many-coloured rose
bushes, magnolias and violets allow our guests to enjoy the
fragrant peacefulness of the park. The park reflects the
style of the gardens in the 18th century country houses
with flowerbeds edged with box and cultivations of cedar,
bamboo and yew.
