Ubicazione:
L'Albergo Menardi è situato in posizione tranquilla, 1200
metri a nord del centro di Cortina.
Si affaccia sulla strada statale di Alemagna SS 51 che
conduce a Dobbiaco ed è contornato da un ampio parco
ombreggiato. Il parco, curatissimo e pieno di fiori, offre
la possibilità di un piacevolissimo relax.
La passeggiata pedonale, adiacente al parco e illuminata
alla sera, consente di raggiungere il centro o di
inoltrarsi nel bosco in pochi minuti di piacevole
cammino.
D'inverno, direttamente dalla passeggiata, si accede alle
piste da fondo.
Un servizio di ski-bus consente di raggiungere le più
importanti piste di sci.

HOTEL MENARDI, costituito dalla vecchia casa madre e da una
nuova dipendenza situata all'interno del vasto parco, ha 51
camere.
Offre un'ospitalità moderna, le stanze sono dotate tutte di
bagno privato, telefono, televisione satellitare
(Skynews, CNN, Eurosport) ed alcune con cassaforte.
Cucina: La
cucina, curata con la passione di offrire il meglio nella
tipicità della cucina italiana locale, offre una vastissima
scelta di piatti sempre accompagnati da una larga ed
occulata selezione dei migliori vini italiani ed
esteri.
Tuttavia la caratteristica principale della casa è quella
di conservare ancora l'impronta originale e di mostrare
quali elementi decorativi gli attrezzi del lavoro passato,
i vecchi mobili, le statue lignee dell'antica devozione
religiosa e quanto è rimasto dell'operosità artigiana delle
generazioni scomparse.
Ma ciò che preme sottolineare è l'impostazione che la
famiglia ha dato ai servizi: efficienti, rigorosi nella
pulizia e nella discrezione, in armonia con la quiete della
casa, quella quiete antica che l' hotel conserva intatta
ancora oggi, con il suo parco alberato dove,
passeggiandovi, la prima sensazione è certamente quella
particolarissima della "pace della montagna".

Location:
Hotel Menardi is situated in a very quiet area 1 km north
of the town centre. It is located on the main road, SS51,
that heads towards Dobbiaco, and is surrounded by a
beautiful park. This very well kept park, with beautiful
variety of flowers, is also a great place for peace and
relaxation. A pleasant leisure walk along the wonderfully
illuminated walk-way directly behind the park can bring you
to the centre of town or into the middle of the woods
within minutes.
During the winter months, this same walkway gives direct
access to the cross-country ski runs. There is a ski-bus
service that will connect you directly from the hotel to
any of the major ski-lifts.
Rooms: Hotel
Menardi consist of the older main house and just behind,
next to the hotel park-grounds, a new depandance, with a
combined total of 51 rooms available.
It offers a wide range of modern facilities, rooms with
private baths, telephones, televisions and
satellite channels (Eurosport, CNN, Sky, etc.) and private
safes.
Cuisine: Not
to mention the hotel cuisine, which is looked after with
great passion, offers the best of the italian and local
dishes, accompained by a vast selection of the best italian
and foreign wines.
Other well defined characteristics of the hotel is its look
of originality and decor, work tools of the past, antique
furniture and religious wooden statues, and remnants of an
extinct artisan activity of past generations.
It is also important to note that the Menardi family touch
throughout, efficient service, rigorous cleaning, the
utmost discrection, all in harmony with the peacefulness
found in the hotel, a peacefulness still kept intact today
with beautifully treed park, where when walking through,
the first sensation is surely that of "true mountain peace".

Centre: For the winter season 2003 a new
wellness area is available.
The new facility is equipped with a finnish sauna,
calidarium and whirlpool.
