Storia: Nato come luogo di ristoro per le carrozze postali con i primi viaggiatori, il Posta ha mantenuto immutato dal 1835 il principio dell'accoglienza.
Intatta la sua posizione rispetto alle cime che circondano Cortina ed è sempre la stessa famiglia a condurlo, i Manaigo, i quali, di generazione in generazione, si sono tramandati il compito di ospitare turisti provenienti da ogni parte del mondo.

La storia, le abitudini, la cortesia la conoscenza del difficile mestiere di ospitare sono elementi che traspaiono chiaramente dalla cura dei dettagli presenti in ogni angolo dell'hotel, dalla ricerca e dall'accostamento armonioso di legni e di colori, che sono le caratteristiche essenziali del Posta.

Ogni stanza avrebbe una piccola storia da raccontare, ogni fotografia appesa alle pareti porta una data, ogni vetrina con peltri possiede un suo “peso” rispetto al tempo.

Tutto questo fa del Posta un ambiente dove la tradizione e l'esperienza sono gli strumenti che lo rendono un luogo unico, e dove le memorie convivono con un processo di costanti migliorie, che la famiglia Manaigo, da oltre un secolo porta avanti.

DE LA POSTE HOTEL

History: We have endeavoured to recount the passage through this century of the “Posta”, a hotel whose name has become a legend. Established as an inn for mail coaches and the earliest travellers, the Posta has upheld its integrity of receiving guests since 1835.
Set amidst the mountain peaks surrounding Cortina, the establishment has always been run by the same family, the Manaigo's, who generation after generation have been handed down the task of hosting tourists from every corner of the world.

The history, the customs, the courtesy, and the mastering of the difficult profession of accommodating guests, are elements that show through clearly when carefully observing the details in every niche of the hotel, and the combination of woods and colours is the essential feature of the Posta.

Each guest room has a small tale to tell, every photograph hung on the walls bears a date, every showcase displaying pewter possesses its “weight” in time.

All this makes the Hotel Posta an atmosphere where tradition and experience are the instruments which make it so unique, and where memories coexist with the continuous improvements carried on by the Manaigo's for more than a century.
