L'Hotel Corona di Cortina d'Ampezzo, di proprietà della famiglia Rimoldi dagli inizi del Novecento, è convenientemente situato a cinque minuti a piedi dal centro cittadino in una posizione tranquilla e panoramica attorniato dalla vista delle Tofane, Pomagagnon e Cristallo.


L'Albergo ha la peculiarità d'ospitare nelle proprie sale un notevole numero d'opere d'Arte Moderna - dipinti, sculture, ceramiche e mosaici d'importanti artisti italiani e stranieri, alcuni dei quali ebbero a soggiornare in questo Hotel in vari periodi.

Dating from 1905, the Hotel Corona is one of the first hotels built at the resort; it's loyal clients would stay nowhere else during a stopover in Cortina.


For anyone interested in modern art, a stopover here is an event.

Many of most important artists of Italy from 1935 to 1960 are represented here with artwork not only painting, but sculpture and ceramic and some mosaics.


The Corona is chosen for the World Ski Competitions by the France female ski - team and by the German bob-sled team.


All bedrooms are confortable and well furnished with views of the Dolomites.


Should the hotel be full, there is a possibility to book at a reduced price in the Annexe, 10 meters from the hotel, one of the eight rooms with bath and balcony.


The hotel is five minutes walk to downtown and ten minutes by bus to the ski-lifts.
